International activities

The main purpose of the international work of the Department is the establishment and development of international and inter-University relations with universities, governmental and non-governmental organizations in other countries near and far abroad, strengthening the image of education workers of our University in the international arena, as well as adaptation to European and world standards preserving the best achievements of national education.

Stuff of the Department is the implementation of the international work in the following areas:
– organization of international scientific conference by teachers of the Department;
– participation in international scientific conferences and other educational institutions;
– guide international students;
– expansion of creative relationships with representatives of education, science, production and public organizations of other countries;
– the participation of lecturers in various events abroad;
– action to promote a positive image KhSUFTT, dissemination of information about achievements of the Department staff.
Stuff of the Department participated in the International scientific-practical conference «Innovative aspects in food and hospitality industry equipment development under present conditions» which was held 8-11 September 2015 in Berdyansk (Zaporizhia region). The conference was organized by the Department of food and hotel equipment industry named after M. I. Belyaev, Kharkiv state university of food technology and trade and the Department of equipment of food processing and food technologies, Tavria state agrotechnological University.

The organizing Committee received a total of 166 abstracts of papers of scientists from 51 educational institutions and organizations from 16 countries.

Scientific reports at the plenary and section sessions, discussions and round tables were focused on solving urgent issues concerning the definition of the problems and prospects of development of equipment for food industry, restaurant and hotel industries, process improvement and technology of processing of agricultural raw materials in the development of modern society.

Stuff of the Department annually take part in International scientific-practical conference «Development of food production, restaurant and hotel industry and trade: problems, prospects, efficiency» that is felt each year at the Kharkiv state university of food technology and trade.
Professor G. V. Deynichenko took part in the First international scientific-practical conference «Ukraine – EU. Modern technology, Economics and law» at Kosice technical University, which took place from 30 March to 2 April 2015 in Kosice (Slovakia). The conference was conducted by the Chernihiv national technological University with the support of the Academic community Michael Baludyanskyy and the Kosice technical University (Slovakia), as well as with the participation of the Lodz technical University (Poland), Economic Academy names after D.A. Tsenovo (Bulgaria) and University of Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina).

The conference brought together specialists from different branches of science who worked in other sections, such as «Advanced engineering», «Sustainable development», «Modern priorities of Economics, management and social development», «Innovation of social work: philosophy, psychology, sociology», «Actual problems of legal science and practice». At the conference prof. V. G. Deynichenko passed the refresher course in «Distance education» in 72 hours. On the basis of passing the issued certificate No. 2015-1/33.

All participants expressed hope for further development of cooperation in the framework of the EU – Ukraine and stressed the need for similar international scientific-practical conferences in the future.

Communication with colleagues at the First international scientific-practical conference “Ukraine – EU. Modern technology, Economics and law”
at Kosice technical University (Slovakia, 2015)

5-6 November 2015 in Colombo (the Republic of Sri Lanka) was held the 3rd international conference on hotel and tourism management «Strategic Alignment in Tourism: Planning, Developing, Marketing, Managing & Moniting» which was held by Colombo international Institute of Management. In the conference took part the delegation of scientists of Kharkiv state university of food technology and trade consisting of doctor of technical Sciences, head of the Department of food and hotel industry equipment named after M.I. Belyaev Professor G.V.Deynichenko, doctor of technical Sciences, Professor, head of the Department of commodity research and examination of goods, Professor A.A.Dubinina, doctor of technical Sciences, head of the Department of hotel and restaurant business Professor L.P.Maluk.

The conference was attended by specialists of hotel and restaurant business from many leading countries – Britain, Canada, Holland, Australia, Japan. Have been widely presented at the conference of South-East Asia – India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, actually Sri Lanka. Post-Soviet countries represented Ukraine in the person of the delegation KhSUFTT and Kazakhstan who personified the Almaty Management University.

At the end of the conference, at its closing plenary meeting there were proposals about the need for further communication on similar activities, extension of relations between specialists of hotel and tourist business from around the world. Also all participants of the conference, the organisers have been granted certificates of participation.

Research at the Department are actively involved students. So, under the scientific guidance of Professor G. V. Deynichenko at the Department performs experimental research on the topic of the master’s work a student of the faculty of equipment and technical services from Nigeria – Ebonugwu Obinwa Chimuanya.

The Department actively cooperates with universities of other countries. In 2014 there was signed a Protocol of intentions with the State University of Akaki Tsereteli, M. Kutaisi (Georgia). In the framework of cooperation in 2015 Georgian teachers had the opportunity to participate in the conference “Innovative aspects of development equipment for food and hospitality industry in modern conditions”, organized by the Department of equipment for food and hospitality industry. M. I. Belyaeva.
In 2015 signed a Memorandum of understanding with Almaty Management University, M. Almaty (Republic of Kazakhstan), has the goal of expanding cooperation with Asian educational institutions and learning from experience in obtaining international grants scientists from Kazakhstan.
Members of the Department of food and hotel industry equipment named after M.I. Belyaev conduct active work on attraction of funding for scientific research.
From 7 June until 4 July 2015 on the basis of German educational center Arge trAIDe (Aachen, Germany) held a one-month training of a group of managers in the direction of «General cooperation». The English-speaking group of managers on the aforesaid direction was formed in Ukraine as a result of a competitive selection held by the GIZ. One of the participants, who won a grant from the Program and completed an internship, was associate Professor of Department of food and hotel industry equipment named after M.I. Belyaev, candidate of technical Sciences Z.O. Masniak. Internship in Germany was carried out at the expense of the government of Germany.

In 2015 the head of the Department prof. G. V. Deynichenko participated in projects of the European HR programmes FP7-PEOPLE-2012-IRSES 318946 n: Nutritional Labeling Study In Black Sea Region Countries (NUTRILAB). The project received funding for 2013-2015. The project lasted 36 months from 01.01.2013 to 31.12.2015.

 

 

FP8 – HORIZON 2020 (2014-2020)

At present the Department carries out organizational work on search of the relevant consortia in the framework of the Work Programmes WP-Food-2016-2017 Sub-priority «Food security» Priority «societal challenges 2» the EU Program «Horizon 2020» (2014-2020), particularly in the development of new models of special equipment for processing of food products.
At the Department work highly qualified specialists in the field of processes and equipment and food industry technologies that can solve different specific problems in the industry and have the relevant experience.
Scientists have the opportunity to conduct research in a research laboratory of the chair of «Nanotechnology for food industry» with the use of modern equipment of appropriate precision.
