Annual Ukrainian Scientific-Practical Conferenceof young scientists and students “Innovative technologies in the field of hotel and restaurant business food production, economics and entrepreneurship: scientific searches of the Youth” in the Kharkiv State University of Food Technologies and Trade is a tradition. Scientific conferences have an essential meaning for the development of creative abilities of students and young scientists, the stimulation of their interest in science and the ability to present the results of research activities.
This year UkrainianScientific-Practical Conferenceof young scientists and students “Innovative technologies in the field of hotel and restaurant business food production, economics and entrepreneurship: scientific searches of the Youth”was held April 7, 2016. The Department of Food and Hotel Industry Equipment of M. Belyaev was responsible for the section of “Catering Equipment”, where reports of students of the Faculty of Technical Equipment and Service, Research Institute of Food Technology and Business were listened. The Head of the section was Ph.D., associate professor Dmitry Dmytrevskyy.
Active participation in the section work of students of the Research Institute of Food Technology and Businessshould be noted. Student of group TX-13 Blyschyk Svetlanawas awarded with Diploma of I degree for the report “The induction heating as an innovative way of food thermal processing in the restaurant business establishments”. Student of group TX-23 Shabelska Irina was awarded with Diploma of II degree for the report “Frying Machines in a modern restaurant business”. Student of the IV yearAnanina Catherine was awarded with Diploma of III degree for the report “Peculiarities of technical support of restaurant industry institutionswith equipment for «sous-vide»”.Students Anastasia Gusevaand Kostyhov Cyril and were awarded with Diplomas.
The conference was also attended by students of related universities of Ukraine. Student of M. Tugan-BaranowskiDonetsk National University of Economics and Trade M. c. Kryvyi Rih, Andreichenko Roman, obtained Diploma of II degree for the report “Methods of energy efficiency improvement of the food industry institutions in the region”.
During the working time of the section the report “Prospects for the use of dispersing machines multicomponent forsemi-finished products creating in institutions of restaurant industry” made by Hirenko Natalia, a graduate I-year postgraduate student of the Department of Food and Hotel Industry Equipment of M. Belyaev, was heard. The report contained video footage that invoked interest of the students.
The stuff of the Department of Food and Hotel Industry Equipment of M. Belyaev would like to thank all the students and young scientists who actively participated in the conference and to wish them success in his future scientific activity.
Also, one of the most interesting and modern sections of the Conference was the section “Intellectual Property” headed by assistant professor of the Department of Food and Hotel Industry Equipment of M. BelyaevV.Dub. The section represented a variety of interesting ideas of young people due to the modern day, the condition of some of the intellectual property rights in Ukraine comparatively the international community. Young scientists raised interesting questions of the protection of different intellectual property objects and the prevention of offenses in this area.
Young scientists and students of different cities and higher education institutions took part in the work of the section. For example students of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” Boginya K. with the report “Changes in the laws of Ukraine concerning intellectual property” and Ivashchenko O. with the report “On the question of terminology” reported in the section. Student of the Kharkiv National University of Construction and ArchitectureYuhno V. with the report “Role of patent information search in management of intellectual propety” took part in the work of the section as well.
The most active part in the work of the section took students of NNIHTB and the Faculty of Commodity Science and Business of the Kharkiv State University of Food Technology and Trade. Student of the group TTM-21 Dub A. made a report “The result of the food quality improvementas an object of intellectual property” and was awarded with Diploma of I degree. Student of the group ТХ-21m Verenich M. made a report “Legal protection of “Geographical indication”as an object of intellectual property” – by the results of the reporting was awarded with Diploma of II degree. Student of the group TEM-31 Vatula T. prepared a report “The brand protection” andobtained Diploma of III degree.
Brightness and actuality of the views expressed in the reports of the Conference of the indicated issues, shows a decent level of training of future specialists in various fields and a confidence in the legal culture growing of today’s youth during the use of intellectual property in their careers and life.
