The Department of food and hotel industry equipment named after M.I.Belyayev of Kharkiv State University of Food and Trade is famous for its traditions. Traditionally, for the first-year students, the Department stuff holds the event “Day of the Department” in order to intensify work with students and attract them to the world of science.
On November 15, 2016, the Department hospitably hosted students of the first year of FETS, gr. M-16, M-26pr. During the meeting, the head of the department was Dr. of Tech. Sci., Prof. Deinychenko G. told the students about the history of the department, its formation and development. Students got acquainted with the publications of the department: textbooks, manuals and methodical literature, necessary for them to study. First-year students were demonstrated the results of scientific developments of the faculty and students involved in scientific activities at the department.
Students were able to get acquainted with the work of the website of the department, its structure and possibilities of its use in educational and scientific activities.
An overview of the educational classrooms with samples of mechanical and thermal equipment used in restaurants and directly in the educational process was held.
The meeting was attended by the dean of FETS, Ph.D., assoc. prof. Karpenko L., curators of groups, Ph.D. Mikhailova S. and Ph.D. Shevchenko A., head of the primary trade union organization of students of KSUFTT Lebedynets I., Melnyk K. a graduate of past years who works in the field of service of technological equipment of the food and restaurant industry, gave the first-year students wishes of success in educational and scientific activities.
Student of the 2nd year of FETS, gr. M-15 Mishchenko Valeria told the first-year students about the history of the origin, technology of production and the usefulness of tea. The final stage of this report and the meeting as a whole was a friendly treat of students with tea and coffee with sweets.
So all the students of the Faculty of Equipment and Technical Services, as well as of the University, the Department invites to collaborate within the framework of the research work.
