Realization of outdoors classes for students in the field of “Food Technologies and Engineering” on the basis of JV “Contact-5”

For students of the third year (gr. ТХ-14, ТХ-24) and the second year of accelerated form of education (gr. ТХ-35скр) of the Educational and scientific institute of food technologies and business on the basis of the Ukrainian-American joint venture “Contact-5” director Veretnik O., together with the teachers of the Department – assoc. prof. Gorelkov D., assoc. prof. Dmitrevsky D., assoc. prof. Chervonyi V., conducted outdoors classes, where future specialists got acquainted with the range of restaurant equipment presented in the trading hall, and took part in a practical seminar.
The Ukrainian-American joint venture “Contact” works in the field of complex equipping and retail sale of professional technological equipment for restaurants, cafes, bars, dining rooms, production departments of hotel complexes, supermarkets and stores of the traditional trading system. JV “Contact” is specialized in the implementation of complex solutions: development of design solutions; equipment selection; installation and connection; personnel training; warranty and post-warranty service.
The meeting was held in the framework of many-year cooperation of teachers of the Department of food and hotel industry equipment named after M.I.Belyayev with specialists of the joint venture “Contact-5”. Students were able to get acquainted with the latest equipment of the branch.
The students were able to see modern models of industrial plates, convection ovens, steam convectors, contact grills, professional fryers, refrigeration cabinets, beverage coolers, refrigeration tables, blenders, slicers, planetary mixers, dishwashers, catering equipment, etc.
Such educational events contribute to raising of competitiveness level of future specialists in the restaurant industry!
